Classroom-based administration
Each student attends class on a standard schedule. While in class each student uses the Class of 1 technology to complete all required work. This maximizes instructor-student contact time while freeing the instructor to work one-on-one with students throughout the class period as students are engaged in the Class of 1 system.
Virtual classroom online
Students complete virtually all work outside the classroom. Instructors manage students through the online systems or processes in use now or provided by iLearn.
Blended administration
Students attend class on a regular schedule, but for a reduced number of hours per week. Each student works online in the Class of 1 system both in and outside class. The teacher monitors student activity and progress in the Class of 1 management system and communicates with students through means used in other virtual classes. This option allows instructors to maintain any level of contact with students face-to-face but spend fewer hours with any class of students. As a result of the ease of administration and reduced workload for the instructors, more students can be enrolled in a section without increasing the instructor’s workload.
